The Modern Jazz Quartet were a long-standing jazz combo that may not have been on a jazz fan's short list of favorite artists but their influence stretched long and far. Witness, one of their members was the great Milt Jackson, the master of the vibraphone. A few words on the condition, this record is an original release. It has some normal wear, enough to make it cool. It plays with minimal surface noise.

The comic genius of Lenny Bruce. This is original material of Bruce's bits pressed to vinyl in 1975 on the Fantasy Label (Think Creedence records) with extensive liner notes by Ralph J. Gleason. A 2 LP set listed in our jazz section because Lenny Bruce was a spoken word jazz genius. His influence on comedians and the arts stretches far and wide.

One of the great New Orleans Jazz classics, Sweet Emma and her Preservation Hall Jazz Band. For you youngsters out there who are also NBA fans, yes the Utah Jazz once called New Orleans home until the late 70's, early 80's. This set includes the great "Basin Street", "Little Liza Jane", and "Ice Cream". Don't wait on this one, get it while you can.
