Outstanding double album chronicling the much-too-short career of Duane Allman. Includes his work as an in-demand session guitarist, his work with Derek and the Dominos, and of course with the Allman Brothers. Session performances include work with Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Boz Scaggs, Clapton, and others. His guitar work and his slide guitar work left a lasting impression on the rock world that lasts to this day. Allman died in a motorcycle accident in 1971 and Guitar Player has named him one of the greatest guitar players of all time. A preplayed record in our collection, the one we have available is pictured. It has some natural wear and both discs sound great.
