Label: Jazz Images Records

In the last ten years of her life Billie Holiday recorded for jazz producer Norman Granz, who teamed her up with some of the best jazz cats of the era. The Unforgettable Lady Day, released in 1959 just after the singer’s death, compiles some of her best material from that era, featuring such stars as Ben Webster, Harry “Sweets” Edison, Charlie Shavers, and Oscar Peterson. A reissue, find this in our modest area of "Jazz Reissues" in our New Vinyl rack.
