The Bare Hambones come at you with both barrels blazing on this local self-released album, "Time For Kicking". Yes, they are from the Elgin area and have honed their chops playing shows throughout the midwest and Chicagoland area. If you are a fan of 1990's alt-country, this band is in your wheelhouse. A great Americana sound that harkens back to that  alt country era and a little bird told us they are fans of The Replacements and Uncle Tupelo, so that's really all you need to know. Includes the Blue Mountain infused (to these ears anyway) "Time For Kicking", "Town Square", "Dixon Willies", "Table for One". Catch 'em live sometime!
