A late 1980's best-of to wrap-up the IRS recording years for REM. After this, and with the release of "Green", they were on the major labels and playing with the big boys. Includes several of those great jangly guitar songs that really put the stamp on their sound. Those early records really helped create the indie aesthetic that we still hear to this day. Includes "So. Central Rain", "Don't Go Back to Rockville", "Gardening At Night", "Fall On Me", "Driver 8", "It's the End of the World", and other classics by Berry Buck Mills and Stipe. This is the 2016 reissue on vinyl.
